DP Kithure Kindiki addressing small-scale business traders in Nairobi County
On Monday, January 6, 2025, at his official residence in Karen, Nairobi, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki held an early morning meeting with representatives of small-scale traders from various markets in Nairobi County.
During the engagement, the Deputy President outlined the National Government’s plans to enhance support for traders in partnership with the Nairobi City County Government.
The focus is on boosting operations in key markets, including Wakulima, Gikomba, Muthurwa, Kariokor, and Nyamakima, as well as busy hubs like the Central Business District (CBD), River Road, Railways, Pumwani Road, Bus Station, and OTC.
“The government is committed to creating a conducive business environment and providing solutions to challenges faced by traders in these critical economic zones,” Kindiki emphasized.
