DONALD TRUMP REPRESENTATIVE IN KENYA VISITS UHURU KENYATTA IN GATUNDU
Marc Dillard, the newly appointed Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Kenya, and UK High Commissioner Neil Wigan separately visited former President Uhuru Kenyatta at his Gatundu North home in Ichaweri, Kiambu County.
The discussions centered on the Nairobi Peace Process and other regional peace initiatives. Dillard’s visit marks the second high-profile engagement at the former president’s ancestral home.
A few days earlier, President William Ruto also visited Kenyatta, despite their strained relationship during their second term in office.
